Brian Williams

Brian Williams is a designer, writer, and filmaker. He graduated from UCLA in June of 2008 with a degree in Design | Media Arts. Brian was raised in Redding, California, where he developed a love for the arts at an early age. Following his creative interests, he originally considered studying architecture but was instead drawn to the unique Design | Media Arts program at UCLA.

During his four years at the university, Brian explored several different creative industries. He first began to pursue game design and worked for Activision, a major video game developer and publisher. He also became interested in advertising and marketing and interned for the top creative advertising agency on the West coast: TBWA\Chiat\Day. In 2007, Brian shot a remake of a scene from Kar Wai Wong's film 2046, but it was not until almost a year later that he fully began to focus on film. In the spring of 2008, Brian wrote and directed his first short film: The Decision. He is now currently living in Los Angeles.
